On Saturday, August 28, 2010, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Frédéric Chopin, the beloved composer from Warsaw, Maria will sing three rarely-performed art songs by Chopin. She will collaborate with conductor Michel Brousseau on piano in "The Art of Prima Donna" portion of the concert. Concert pianist, Cristina Altamura, will perform a solo piano work by and in homage to Chopin. Maria will conclude the program with a selection of famous arias from well-known operas.

On Thursday, April 29, 2010, Maria Knapik & Friends in collaboration with The Polish Canadian Women's Federation present "Classical Gala Concert", a fundraiser for Earthquake survivors in Chile. The concert will take place at 7:30PM, Centretown United Church, 507 Bank Street, Ottawa. Maria will be performing with a few local talents: Julie Nesrallah, James O'Farrell, Shawne Eliabeth and guest artists and composer from Poland, Bulgaria and Austria.

On Monday, April 12, 2010, Maria Knapik performed with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra. She sang the deeply moving Elegia written for her by the Canadian-Polish composer, Peter Paul Koprowski. She also sang the very haunting soprano solo in Górecki’s Third Symphony (Symphony of Sorrowful Songs). The orchestra performed Lutoslawski’s powerful Concerto for Orchestra as well.

On December 12, 2009, Maria sang in a Christmas celebration and fund-raising concert for Saint-Jérome Hospital Foundation.

Maria performed with Marc Boucher, baritone, New World Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, Les Chanteurs de Sainte-Thérèse, Choeur Tremblant and Ottawa Classical Choir under the direction of Maestro Michel Brousseau. Dubois's "Messe de la Délivrance" and " Messe Solennelle de St-Rémi" were performed. Maria's recording for these two masses with the same company will be released in Spring 2010.

Maria performed with Julie Nesrallah, mezzo-soprano, Steeve Michaud, tenor, Marc Boucher, baritone, New World Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, Les Chanteurs de Sainte-Thérèse, Choeur Tremblant and Ottawa Classical Choir under the direction of Maestro Michel Brousseau. The same program performed on November 22, 2009 at Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal was repeated.
